Message from the President

As President of Spirit Training Center, Inc. and STC Bible College, I personally would like to welcome you to our college. Our staff and faculty are here to assist you as you endeavor to fulfill God's purpose for your life. We will harmoniously combine our gifts and abilities to form a unique team that will look out for the best interest of the college and its constituency. To the best of our ability, we will strive to fulfill God's purpose for this Bible college. While doing so, we trust that our attitudes  and actions always depict the character of Jesus. We are fully aware of our responsibility to the college, the community, and to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We exist for the purpose of carrying out the great commission as recorded in Mark 16:15-20 and Matthew 28:19-20. It is our desire and commitment to prepare our students to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ to people all over the world, thereby producing converts. We will do our best to train you adequately to be and to produce disciples for Jesus.

We trust that STC Bible College will be a blessing to you as you prepare yourself for placement in His ministry.

I am privileged and honored to be a part of the STC Bible College family. May you find that the Word of God planted in your heart will manifest itself in you and through you, for your good and the good of others. My prayer is that you learn the Word of God, with the assistance of the Holy Spirit, for the purpose of becoming trained and equipped to be effective ministers for Jesus Christ. May the Lord, through His Holy Spirit, give you revelation upon revelation of His truths and may these truths be a light unto your path.

In Memory

Jane Withers

August 14, 1949 - September 17, 2017

Jane played a major role in the founding and operation of STC Bible College. She served STC Bible College seventeen years as the director and as a classroom teacher. She also co-wrote part of the STC Bible College curriculum courses and edited the entire curriculum. Jane retired from public education where she served as an English teacher, reading specialist, lead teacher, assistant principal, and principal.

Jane has passed from this life to live eternally with the lover of her soul. Her life was dedicated to God, and she constantly pursued Him. Now, she is with Him forever. God designed this unique woman, then gave to the woman He designed the assignment of documenting the "Design of Woman." She fulfilled her mandate with excellence when she wrote the book God's Design for Woman. Jane was the virtuous woman of Pro-verbs 31 who loved to teach about Ruth, Esther, and Abigail. She exemplified the characteristics of these three women with her daily life. The life of this "virtuous woman" will continue to be expressed through the many people to whom she imparted. STC Bible College is forever grateful for all that Jane did to make this college what it is today.

Message from the Dean of Outreach

Richard received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management and Ethics from John Wesley University and his Master's Degree in Biblical Studies from STC Bible College. He served as an Associate Pastor thirteen years and as a Senior Pastor seven years. Richard has served as Chaplin in the Thomasville Fire Department since 1999. He has traveled to many parts of the world proclaiming and teaching the gospel as mandated in the commission given by Jesus Christ. As Dean of Outreach, Richard is responsible for contacting persons of interest and coordinating meetings that relate to outreach opportunities, which includes onsite visits to affiliate colleges.

As the Dean of Outreach, it is my joy to welcome you to our Bible college family. It is our desire for each student to experience the greatest possible success in his/her academic pursuit with the goal of accurately representing Jesus Christ. I Corinthians 10:31 instructs us to do what we do for the glory of God. This mandate places the utmost responsibility on STC Bible College and our students to operate with excellence when learning and teaching the Word of God. With the endeavor of excellence in the forefront, we are dedicated to sowing the truth of God's Word into the lives of our students. While academic pursuits are noble, it is the mission of STC Bible College to introduce and promote a greater pursuit - the pursuit of relationship and fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
